I have designed a preamplifier and a main amplifier. The Preamplifier is separated by 300 meters from the main amplifier. I want to give power supply to pre amplifier from the main amplifier via RF cable RG-58 and receive the signal from pre amplifier on same cable 100Khz. These cables are already installed. So I can not change them. I need some solution to transmit signal and receive power supply on the same cable RG-58. Thanks

You Don't Mention Freq. But For 300 Meter You Have Trouble Allready The Way It Is Now You Want Dc On Top Of It For Power. You May Do Whatever You Want Will It Work Defenetly Not

Now I mentioned freq. 100Khz are you going to give me a solution??? I know that the DC will ride on top of the AC anything newer?
I know I can use some discrimintor circuits with switches. You have any easier method?.

if you run the dc and the ac on this cable at the end just add a cap to get rid of the dc but gnd loops for 300 meter is another problem. the cable shield will not help you with noise. is it workable with rg58 no way. good luck.
