I need to use the 2V output of my audio arb gen to drive a 100 ohm
coil from a 24VDC 1A supply.
Could the reader please describe their "favorite" DC-20KHz power stage
that would suit this purpose? Something with good fidelity, suitable
for an inductive load.
And, yes, down to nearly DC so I cannot use an standard audio amp.
I was thinking op amp (CA3130?) and emitter follower, but I am a bit
behind the times on part selection.
Maybe there is a more up-to-date approach? Something really reliable
for a wide range of uses.
Can anyone fill me in on current best practice for this? I live in a
country area and need to order all my components in.
Best wishes,
Steve
