    sir
    i have a roboard 110 i want to connect it to monitor but i dont have VGA card i am trying to redirect console to com1(RS232) the other end we have a DB 9 connector ,but my monitor connector is DB16 so how to convert it to DB9 connector or any other idea pls suggest

    You can't connect an RS232 port to a monitor.

    However, you can connect it to a PC with a monitor and a terminal emulator program. On a newer computer you would need an RS232 to USB converter since it will not have a serial port.

    no PC needed

    Hi rahila,

    you don't even need a complete PC to do that kind of job.
    A Raspberry Pi or even the Propeller chip would be enough
    for a basic terminal.
