Current limiting circuit of LM723

    Will the current limiting circuit work in the diagram given below? Please explain the working principle of it.

    Welcome to EP.

    If it is knowledge you seek,
    you should take the 723 datasheet and learn how the device works.
    After you do that,and have a good understanding of it,
    come back with specific questions.

    100uF after the bridge rectifier should be 1,000uF

    Just tell me if the load gets short circuited will the current increase through the POT which is connected to pin 2 ? or because of the diode in parallel to the path the current through the concerned path remains same.

    Why don't you build the circuit and short-circuit the output. This way you will start to learn something.
