  1. Hi all,
I've googled a little around but I'm still confused...

I got a heavy used logicanalyzer with color CRT & touchscreen. But
unfortunately the screen is very dim. Even with cloudy daylight I have
    to darken the room :-(
Now I search the parameters to regenerate the cathode of this display. I
read something of about twice the normal heating current, but also about
9 V instead of 6.3 V thats normal. But others told me to double the
    Voltage not the current...
And then to use a 300 V voltage to G1 with current limitting resistor to
20 - 60 mA. The time to regenerate is quite different too. One describes
something of about 90 seconds others told about half an hour.

    Where are the CRT-specialists here?
    What do you mean?

What's about the "symmmetry" of the 3 colours?

P.S. The one who find errors in my english may mark them on his display ;-)
  2. Find someone with a Sencore CR7000 CRT analyzer and restorer and find out
what the condition of the CRT really is. It may or may not be able to be
improved, but without the proper testing you will just be guessing.
Increasing the filament voltage is the last resort.
