I was given 2 non-working Big Screen TV's, an RCA, which I repaired(Vertical
Deflec problem) and a Crosley Rear Projection TV, Its model # is CP4671
AK05, Theres a .33 ohm resistor(R122) burnt open on the PTV HV P-supply
board, right below that is a blown cap (C115) which I need the value and
voltage rating, anyone here happen to know it, I really, truly would
appreciate it, thanx in advance folks!!!

C115 is a 2700pf 125vac metal film ground coupling cap.
Philips part number is 483512147118

Good luck on that PTV375,

They seem to last a lot longer than most.
Picture was never as tightly focused as some, but decent picture quality and
brightness is possible. They do suffer from contaminated coolant problem.
You should check the FAQ's and google the rest to uncover what has been
mentioned about coolant change.

BTW, you will probably need a few other parts for that regulator circuit
besides the .33 ohm resistor. Check the FET that it feeds thru the SW Mode
transformer.

Good Luck,
Bill Jr

www.ptscorp.com has this board (in stock) rebuilt for $195.00 if you are
interested.

ya know if its a success Bill
Thanx

OK, temped in a .49 for the R122(.47) and a 2.7 uf (same as 2700 pf
right?), but now it seems that R152 instantly becomes open, (replaced the
oem 1(.47)w/ a mil specs resistor and it blew open as well.
FET (Q121) shorted??

If a resistor fails then yes, something is shorted, a shorted FET is easy to
test, just remove it from the board and check with an ohm meter between
legs.

Also, 2.7 uF is NOT 2700 pF, it's 2,700,000 pF. So the capacitor that you
substituted is 1000 times larger in value than it should be (But this is
probably unrelated to R152 failing).

OK, the PTV HV P-supply board on this Crosely has 2 identical Mosfets on
it, (MTH8N45,high speed switchers I think),but they have two totally
different readings(DMM meter)once removed off the board, with one of them
measuring very close to short, I'm going to replace both along with the
burnt resistor, as soon as I can find a place that sells them.........hoping
this will rectify(no pun intented) the problem.........stay tuned folks....
