Hello, i have a 2 wire led for my Jeep Wrangler side marker light and i want it to blink when the turn signal is used and when not used it stays my side marker. Right now the existing side marker harness was a incandescent two-wire just plugged in to a female. I kept the end of the plug and just wired it up to the LED except for the wires are different the black is ground and the white is hot. I wanted to keep those wires the way it was and then a third wire would go to my front marker/blinker. I see some sold on the internet I guess they have a diode in them or something anyways what would I need to convert this into a three wire so it works as a side marker and blinker.

At $3 odd, maybe buy one and cut it open, have a look at what is inside.

I just typed what @Bluejets linked to.
Much easier to understand, so I deleted it.
You may find a simple timer relay module connected to the side light useful too. It could interrupt the side lights signal while the flaasher/blinker is used. Then a couple of seconds after indicators are off, the sides come on again.
    Sorry, just thinking out loud!.
