I am sorry Bluejets. If you read the first post I wish to control the charging voltage back to the 6vlt battery. Please make a recommendation to control to a voltage needed to charge it. I am thinking 6.9 to 7VDC should do the trick. Currently the system seems to fluctuate and over charge the battery and kills it.

Also they show a switch in the circuit to control the headlight but the headlight is not switchable and is ON all the time when motor is running.
Thanks for the response.

You supplied the diagram, not me.
The diagram does not show what you quote so I suspect it is the wrong diagram completely.

I have noted in the past that US , Europe and Pacific models are different.

Doesn't change the fact that the bulbs and the resistor are the regulators.
Have you checked the resistor?
I very much doubt Suzuki would have released something that didn't work initially or have had a "soon after release" mod.

One has to remember with any circuitry , the battery becomes part of the rectified output smoothing.

Can you or someone tell me how to test or troubleshoot the resistor?
