control a new circuit using existing circuit

Hi, i'm looking to control a new circuit from the signal wire in my throttle positining sensor. I first thought about using a regular automotive relay but the sensor's signal wire only carries a max 4 volts and all the relays i can find have a pull in voltage of at least 6 volts. Does anyone know if there is something else i can use that would function as relay but work off of 1 volt to about 4 volts? Thanks!

Use a transistor, and you can use that to drive the relay if necessary due to power requirements...
