connect ICL 7135 to PC

it is possible connect ICL 7135 ( from Intersil ) to PC over RS232? ICL
7135 have not direct serial output, but is here not any possibility ?

A small uP with USART like MicroChip's PIC series shouldn't be too
hard to implement.
