I am confused about controller how they make I mean how we can decide how many bit are required to make device I want to make 8 bit micro controller now I have decided to make 8 bit micro controller ok so next controller make with CPU and MEMORY
    1) how many bit are required to make CPU?

ok for starters.... I would really appreciate this being written so I can understand it.
CPU's come in various bits.... 8bit micro controllers through to 64bit CPU's.... there may be higher and even lower values but I cant think of them
what are your wanting to do?

this might help somewhat but still am stuck on your explanation

I have little confused please correct me if i am wrong
    specification for controller
    micro controller - 8 bit
    CPU - 8 bit
    ALU - 8 bit
    DECODER - 8 bit
    IS it correct ?

We can't really help because we don't know what your asking.

Perhaps you can give us some background describing what you're doing.

I want to design 8 bit micro controller on computer so I need specification I know the main part of controller make with CPU and MEMORY CPU make with ALU and control unit
    my question
    1) how many bit are required to make CPU?
2)how many bit are required to make ALU ?

how to decide how many bit are required to make device?

Well, the first microcontrollers were 4 bit devices...

Anything less than 2 bits would be pointless (and 2 bits is pretty pointless)

That still doesn't make any sense.

Is this an assignment? Perhaps you should tell us what the *exact* wording of the assignment is.

that's not assignment I have little knowledge about digital circuit .now I want assemble that component like adder, decoder multiplexer ...etc and want to make 8 bit controller

first I thought to make 8 bit controller I know I need CPU and MEMORY then next question came in my mind If i make 8 bit micro controller what should be the CPU and if CPU is 8 bit then what should be the ALU
