I sell this stuff online. MuxLab makes a model
"500000 VideoEase CCTV Modular Balun"
http://www.bassburglaralarms.com/product_12169_detailed.htm

This is but one example. There are hundreds of
similar products at varying costs.

The posted price on his website is likely to be only a fond memory by now,
explained away by RLB as an error or another one of his famous "jokes".

it's gotta be a mistake...all Robert's other prices I've seen were not all
that bad.

|A bit pricey?, no a lot pricey, over four times the price other online
| vendors sell the exact same thing for

I thank you all but, I want to feed it in to the internet.
A capture card and a stand alone computer?
To a open feed to the internet.

I have a wireless cam from a 1/4 mile away and will receive it and feed it
into the internet.

Sorry If I miss lead you.

Muxlab is higher than most and those are retail
prices. Then again, Muxlab's stuff is pretty hard
to beat in terms of performance and longevity.

It's down to "$32 and change". He will of course deny it was ever
anything else... like the pirated DSC files he had available for
download from his server.

I'm guessing that you-all realize that you're actually "helping" him
by pointing out things like this.

Which iroinically, is something that I'm sure he's giggling all the
way to chemo therapy about.

He needs all the help he can get if he's trying to sell product at over 4
times the price of other on line sources, but I doubt if I help or hinder
his sales in anyway, its not my intent to do either and I really don't care
much either way. I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if he sold a few
baluns at his new reduced price of only 50% higher than other on line
sources or if he lost the sale of a few baluns at his old inflated price.
Nor do I care if anything I post directs people to his website with the end
result that they buy thousands of dollars worth of equipment from him, there
weren't going to buy it from me anyway. Whether his business succeeds or
fails has absolutely no effect on my business and short of directly
slandering my business, nothing he says has anything effect either.

Don't sweat it, Jim. I seriously doubt we're "helping" him sell
product. I seriously doubt his claims about his "successes" selling on
line. He's been bragging about his online store for years when it was
"barely surviving" (his words). He's been bragging about his
"experience" in the trade and "expertise" for just as long. Bass is a
scam artist and a liar. 28 complaints to the BBB in the last three
years...

I am not certain what type of wireless camera you have, but typically one
can not use a capture card (designed for analog camera) and give it a
digital feed.
It depends on what output your camera has. Many regular computers with
enough horsepower can convert a JPEG image and push it to and IIS ftp
server. You would have to be more specific about your equipment list and
budget. If you don't have a static IP address there will more to watch it on
the Internet.

In addition, if it's a wireless IP/network camera, you likely don't need
a computer at all.

More info is necessary.

Oh, and just ignore the children...
