Can you please identify this component which got busted in a timer circuit. It looks like capacitor. The markings on it is MYG 10k471 . It is in parrel with the AC mains input.

The 10K471 is a 0.4W Varistor - intended for input transient surge protection of a 240V line. It is rated at 45 joules for 2mS - 230 pF - clamping voltage 470V nominal. A similar part would be an AVX VE13M00301K.
