Complimentary to 4021 shift register?

    I'm trying to build a simple adapter to use NES controller but I need
    something that has serial in/parallel out shift register. NES uses 4021
    to comvert 8 inputs (4 direction, A, B, Start, and Select) to one serial
    line.

    Thanks. Looks like that one can handle 2 NES controllers at once with 2
    separate shift register function in one package.
