Color tube going out?

I have an RCA tv that is sick.It will be ok for a few minutes
then,suddenly it will switch back and forth between the correct screen
to a screen with a total blue tint to it.Is that the color tube going
out,or something else?

Possibly either answer..... without a tech actually doing some hands on
educated guessing and testing with test equipment there is no way to answer
your question.
At the very least you should TAKE it to a service shop for a repair cost
estimate so you can make an intelligent repair decision with facts instead
of internet or telephone wild guesses.

Maybe, but you really need someone to have a look at it and take some
measurments.

It may be the picture tube but that kind of problem can often be remedies
at little cost. So, do have it checked out.
