    Hello,
Does anyone have any good references for a CMOS low noise low current negative voltage generator.

    Thanks very much

    There's one example at freecircuitdiagram.com/2008/09/02/negative-supply-from-single-positive-suply-using-cmos-inverter/
I'd run it at 30kHz instead of 3, so I could use smaller filter capacitors (1uF).
Not sure what your definition of low noise is though.
If you instead of 4 parallell inverters use 2 parallell inverters in series with 2 parallelled inverters then you can get full-wave rectification using 1 extra capacitor & diode. This may give lower ripple on the output.
