Hi Group,

I have been using a DSC 832 panel in my house for a number of years now.

I've never been able to really close the thing up and forget about it,
because whenever there's trouble with the phone line, or an extended power
outtage, etc... I get the trouble light.

The only way I know to get rid of the amber trouble light is to unplug the
battery, then unplug from the wall, wait 30 seconds, then plug it all back
in.

I'm about to rent this house now, and I would like to avoid having to drive
over and do this sequence every time something happens.

Is there a code or something I can use to clear this light?

Thanks,

When the trouble clears, the light will go out. What's the problem?

Some troubles, such as a failure to communicate, require you to press
* 2. A zone light will indicate the specific trouble. If the trouble
has cleared, pressing pound will usually clear everything.
