    Hi,
    Can someone kindly help me identify this Class D SMPS Combi amplifier.
    If Possible I need schematics.
    Any information that might help with repairs.
    Unit Blew Power Fuse.
    Amp Alarm OK
    SMP Alarm OK
    DS Alarm Flagged

    I do not have a brand but I have a jpeg picture of it. But its failing to load. Thank you.
    I must be doing something wrong uploading.

    This is the Class D amp. No details on the board as regards the manufacturer.
    The only thing there is are the following:
    PN30302
    Rev AQ
    RRA2017

    Even with 300K pic size limit, you could do a lot better than that including other sides of it.

    Is it modularized with the left board just a PSU function and the right, connected by wires, the amp board?

    If so, unplug the amp. Try PSU without amp, and try amp with a different PSU. Ideally a current limiting PSU. Somewhere on the board, for example the amp IC, or capacitor ratings, should be hints about a voltage to try. If nothing else I'd try half the rating of the electrolytic caps in the middle of the board, thinking that looks like a dual rail PSU.

    Among the many suspects, I'd suspect a transistor first.

    Hello,

    As said, the picture is to small to see anything.
    You could take pictures of the following sections:
    Ike SMPS class D sections.jpg
    Make pictures of the top and bottom of the given sections.
    Make them about 300 kB each.

    The red section is the high voltage switching part of the SMPS.
    The orange section is the low voltage part of the SMPS.
    The yellow section is the Class D amplifier.

    As @dave9 said, you could try the Class D amplifier on an external power supply.

    Good Day to you all.
    Sorry I have been offline due to unforeseen factors.
    I will try and magnify the pictures as requested by Mr Bertus.
    Corrections:
    1) The Yellow Section is an ADAU 1701 programmable board with Audio Processing.
    Since This is a Powered Sub, The ADAU incorporates the Cross Over as well. Sending signal to the HF section.
    2) The Orange section is indeed the low voltage part Of the power supply.
    It also includes the Class D Power Amp with two Mirrored Class D amps running in parallel.
    The Amp has Two Mirrored IRS 2092 ICs. Each Driving two IRFB 4615 FETs which are running in parallel with the other Mirror.
    The four IRFB FETs are under the board.
    The IRS 2092 carries all the protection.

    I will post the pictures.

    Hi Dave,
    No it is not modularised. Amp and Power supply are one unit.
    Input is ADAU 1701. Acts as Preamp as well as Cross Over for HF. On separate board.
    To separate I have to cut Tracks.
    You might be right about transistors. They are IRFB 4615 FETs. four in sets of two running in parallel.
    Driven by two IRS 2092 ICs. each driving one side of the Class D amp. They carry the protection.
    The Grey Inductors and capacitors are the Audio decoders on the output of the Parallel Class D Amps.

    I will post larger pictures.
    I tested the FETs and they are ok.
    The amp emits a kind farting sound. which could be the power SMPS but all voltages from the SMPS are ok.
