When does a technician use the Chop mode for logic signals?
when does a technician use the ADD mode for logic signals?

Chop mode is only effective for slowly changing logic signals. Add mode is marginally useful for monitoring two logic signals. A better instrument is a logic analyzer and a mixed-mode oscilloscope. Google these two instruments for more information.

I heard that, but isn't the chop mode used for something else besides the frequency of the logic signal

How would you use the ADD mode to monitor two logic signals? the inputs or outputs?

It can ADD high and Low , or HIGH and HIGH or LOW and LOW for different combinations , but when would I use this for? to test what or the component of what?
