i have a big box of chips and some resitors, dont ask as i have no idea what they are
i want £220 or a near offer

free post if its near to the price

I believe you're going to find this post moved by the Moderators to the 'For Sale/Wanted' header toward the bottom of the forum homepage pretty soon.

I looked through the list ... there's nothing really special in there ..... £220 is totally unrealistic .... £50 to 80 would be much closer to reality
and that would be being generous :)

The list is of the Mid 80's parts,mostly not used anymore.
I suggest you put them for sale on Ebay as "old stock" with per piece price.
Even so,they would be very hard to sell.

I'd look up each part on digikey, find the price per unit in 100 qty for the cheapest variant and ask about 5 times that for a qty of 10 on eBay. Postage will add to the price for your customers, and eBay's fees will cut into your price. What is your time worth?

The hard part is finding someone who wants this stuff.

When I've bought collections of parts like this it's been for prices that are a couple of cents in the dollar of their retail price so I can justify the price even if I only end up using a very small fraction. Even then, they've not always been a good deal.
