Chassis mount 10W resistor value

Hi there!

I'm troubleshooting a servo drive and found a resistor that looks open to me. However, I have a doubt as to whether this resistor is either a 2 ohms, or 2.5 ohms. Please see picture.

Is the letter K a tolerance designator? Or is it 5K?

Does it likely have 100V+ across it? If not, 2.5K 20W would make no sense.

No, it doesn't have anything more than what is shown in picture.

The printed legend on the resistor I have here faded away due to overheating. The pictures I got came from a person in China who was kind enough to take several pictures of it from an identical servo drive.

According to me it looks like a 10W resistor, and now what you just said added to the confusion, LOL!

If anybody there can shed some light it will be appreciated.
