hi, first post, I'd like to try and repair a tablet but I'm struggling to find a supplier for the micro USB socket. It's chamfered at the entrance to fit the sloping side of the tablet shell. I guess about 45 degrees maybe a bit less.
Any ideas where I could get one from please? I'm in the UK

Do you know for sure that the socket itself (rather than a pcb track) is damaged?
At a pinch perhaps you could file down a standard socket.

It's the socket - I watched her jam the plug in upside down  and snap the plastic tang off.
I can't see any on the Farnell site, will try the other two now.
Filing a standard one down would at least mean I'm sure to get the right angle - could well go that route.
