I live in Canada and here I am told that if we want to have a wind turbine we can
tie into the grid with it has to be CSA approved. More specifically the electronic
competent, the generator.

My question is if I was to build a bunch of small ones with a low voltage, dose anyone
know if I would still need to have it be CSA approved.

If not what is the max Amps / volts the generator would be allowed to generate?

Thanks for any feed back.

I don't know, but the answer is "almost certainly".

However, that doesn't mean you can't build them, you just can't tie them into the grid (legally)

The LVD(low voltage directive) in the UK is anything greater 50V. If the total system voltage is over 50V it will still need to be approved.
