You don't give away very much information on the battery!

What size is it?
What type of battery? I assume it is probably a silver oxide cell...
Manufacturer?
Voltage?
Is it a single cell or a pack?

I have looked in the and the Altronics, Radio Parts, Dick Smith and Jaycar
catalogues, with no luck...

Different battery manufacturers use different type numbers for equivalent
batteries, so often you need to look at the back of the Eveready /
Duracell / Energiser battery cards to see if the type number is listed.
Failing to find an equivalent listed that way is not the end of the earth,
you can usually find them using dimensions and voltage......

Good Luck

AG3, G3, G3A, LR736, L736, SR41, 192, V36A, 392, 392A are all equivalents
for the GP192. You'll find them everywhere under one of these numbers...

Very small cell battery .. out of a laser pointer..

About .7 of a cm across, says "Alkaline Cell", and thats it on the top of
it. No brand name or even voltage details. Its a single cell.
