I have a CDS cell with me , but its 3 legged and i don't know how it works .
It quotes S34 On the back yet i don't see anything on google .
It looks horribly like a Solar cell , like as though it was made of silicon .
The shop which sold me claimed it was a Cds Cell yet it only costs me SGD0.60$
I tried wiring up base to positive , collector to none , emitter to a LED .
I saw slightly little effect when i did shine it towards the light , i have no problems with that , i can hook it up to a 741 Op Amp .
But the problem here is .
Center pin was supposed to collect or send more power to the 3rd pin when wired up ?
I saw a huge increase in light intensity , yet not as much as original .
I am totally confused . my lighting here is good , but i noticed the Cds cell didn't work like what i wanted it to (make the output brighter , it just stayed dim ) even when i switched off all lights .
