Well I got a Casio keyboard from a friend the plug in cord came with it as well . something told me I should've checked the plug to. Anyways so I'm playing it or well trying to play and it just goes off on me so now I want to check the cord and it was way to much voltage. I tried plugging in the right voltage which was 12v still didn't come on. So I'm curious if it can be fixed? If so what do I do?

What model Casio keyboard was it? What current did the 12 volt adapter supply? Have you tried to see if it works with batteries?
