    Hello
I was just wondering is it possible to make a torch/flash light that uses a 6v car/motorbike bulb, if so how would i go about doing it, and what would i need to make it. Would it just be a case of using 4x1.5v batteries with the biggest mah.

If not wat type of bulb/light would give me a better coverage and more intense light to be able to see more clearly and far at night

    thanks

High efficiency LED's can give as much as around 100 lumens per Watt, while a headlamp bulb run on batteries gives approximately 10 lumens per Watt.
It's an easy choice of technology (and one you ponder in your other thread). LED's and switchmode drivers are all too plentiful on the market. Ready-made torches too.
