    Can someone tell me what these are and how do I determine their value?

    They are greencaps. Values are marked in pF.

    e.g. 103 = 10 * 10^3 pF = 10 nF = 0.01 uF

    824 = 82 * 10^4 pF = 820 nF = 0.82uF

    Metallized film?? I'm amazed at the many types of caps there are.

    greencaps ( including the orange variety) are usually mylar
