Capacitor charging question!

    Well, I'll be charging a high voltage capacitor bank, and I can't find a test light with the proper specs! So, the voltage will be somewhere around 330 I think, and I don't know the uf of it yet (It's not made).. So, what light bulbs could be used? (PS. I'm a complete noob to this stuff)

    sounds an extremely dangerous project for some one who admits to not knowing what they are doing !!
    specially if it is linked to your rail gun thread that has already been closed

    find a local mentor who can guide you with face to face tuition

    or better still take some time, a year or two and learn some electronics
    starting at the basics of resistors, capacitors etc and voltage and current
