Can you hook two 20amps transformers and make 1 40amp?

  2. Yes. To the extent that the two transformers match, the load current
    will be shared by the two transformers. If they are the same type and
    brand, this should be fine.

    They are the same model and brand :) i was hoping it would work. I
    remember someone saying it would but had to make sure so i didnt make
    alot of smoke :) hehe
