It happened to me that warning lights of a car spontaneously turned ON for one second when I was driving a car full of people on a motorway. It was exactly at the moment when I was touching my navigation screen (on a cell phone) and not paying so much attention to driving. Can anybody please explain the principle how it could be done? We have this car for around five years and it has happened only once so it's not something happening more times randomly. Thanks for any ideas!

When the Rugby transmitter station was going full blast, the RAC spent a lot of time rescuing cars which had stopped on the nearby M1 motorway.
One early electric car would jam its brakes on when a 70cm amateur transmitter was activated close by and I have recently heard that experiments are being done to stop cars by the police.
