    Hi all!

Can mosfets touch each other back to back?? I plan to add a heat sink to the 2 mosfets that are back to back but
before I do I just want to know if it can be done. The pics are the old mosfets bust as you can see they are back to back
but they don't have a heat sink and I just want to add one that would take care of both at the same time. Any info will be welcomed!!!

    THANKS!!! View attachment 30502

it would depend on how they are wired in the circuit
but it would be pretty safe to assume that they cannot

you would need the insulation pads between the back of each device and the heatsink
and also either a Teflon screw and nut or a metal one but using the insulating washers so that the screw/nut cannot have contact with either of the devices
