Can i plug a DVI-D cable (From a Monitor) to a DVI-I connector (On PC) ?

    Hi!

    i want to have 2 pc plug into 1 monitor,

    PC number 1: VGA from monitor to VGA PC
    PC number 2: DVI-D cable Dual link ( from same monitor) to DVI-I dual link PC ports

    But i don't know if a DVI-D dual link cable can be plug into a DVI-I dual link ports
    That's why i didn't bough the DVI-D cable yet )

    Someone know?

    PC number 1: Windows 11
    PC number 2: Windows Vista

    If the monitor has more than one input you can use different signal sources to EACH of the inputs and use the monitors on-screen video-input selection function to display the relevant signal.

    i know thank you!

    i just wanted to know if a DVI-D dual link cable can be plug into a DVI-I dual link ports! Apparently it will work so i just have to wait for my order to arrive and test it.
