Can I convert a Gamegear to an external monitor?

I need a small little monitor and have a game gear. I know the
resolution will be terrible, I don't mind that, I just wonder if there
is a way to get an RCA in to the little monitor is has. Sega hasn't
produced the GameGear in years, so they are fairly cheap, but I am not
a big electronics guy, so if it is extremely complicated, I will
probably have to pass, but just curious.

No, it's not trivial, unless you can find the TV tuner accessory for
one, but even so it's cheaper to just buy an LCD monitor. I picked up
one of those Gamecube controllers with a little LCD monitor in it for
like $25 on ebay a while back, the LCD was easy to extract and has
composite video in already.

$25, that is pretty good. I will try Ebay and see what transpired.
