Grammar is fine, but a 1600 W blender - ?!? anyway, what is the make/model/part number of the transformer?

I have a 1kw safety transformer (isolating transformer). It weighs a ton. Imagine a 2kw auto transformer!

I have a 20A autotransformer. It weighs 5 kg or so. Note that it only provides taps for a reduction of 15% of the line voltage, so the high current part of the winding is pretty small. For a 50% reduction it would probably weigh three times as much.
