Hi,

I was just experimenting whether AC/DC can be placed into a D Flip Flop? I was thinking that since AC is not direct can this be possible for the D flip flop to move from D Flip Flop 1 to D Flip Flop 2 and vice versa?

The CMOS 4013 D flip-flop changes state when the input changes from ground to positive. The question is whether you call this AC or varying DC. Make sure that the input stays within the power supply levels.

o_O I've no idea what you're asking.
AC, with suitable conditioning (e.g rectification, thresholding, DC biasing), can be used to generate a signal suitable for the data or clock input of a flip-flop.
