Hi, I've got to change the flash bulb on a digi due to it being dropped,
I've got a suitable donor to try but was wondering a: are there any special
precautions I should take out side of the obvious & b: is there a safe way
of ensuring the charge capacity is disrcharged fully?

TIA for advice

Place a 10Kohm 2 watt resistor across the capacitor, this will
discharge it. You should only need to leave it connected for a few
seconds to perform the task of fully discharging the cap.
