Camcorder boot problem, blank screen

Tested again and found that source shows 0.2V only when I turn on camcorder and then it drops back. BTW I confused polarities: drain is positive, gate and source are negative.

It obviously has to be smd transistor. I'll try to do search myself in the list if you could tell me what basic chracteristics it has to have.

Ok I soldered 1am-c. But that didn't fix the problem.

Based on your measurements, I don't believe it's a mosfet. I also don't believe it's a BJT. So I don't know what it is.

I also disagree with your assertion regarding failure rates of capacitors.

However, if it were true, you would have a problem because most SMD capacitors (at least the small ones) have no values marked on them, and the boards typically don't have this on the silk screen either. At best they may have an ID number that you could use to refer back to the schematic (which you don't have)

Maybe I did again mistake, what measurements are strange?
Regarding capacitors, maybe the same size, color capacitors shouldn't be very different and now it's worth to risk. Problem is how to detect bad tiny parts and there is a lot of them
