C13/14 power cord

I have an instrument powered by 230vac. It uses C13/14 power cord connectors. My question is will a 14 AWG power cord rated for 125vac 15amp handle 230vac 10amp power? It must have C13/14 fittings

why dont you just get the correct cable and save any possible dangerous situations
