Search Results for Query: forum exit
May be the page designer could make the forum exit accessible?
I usually close a forum before I kill the page.
    Thanks, ...

Maybe he is talking about the log-out button.

Click you name between the 'New Posts' Star, and the 'New Mail' Envelope on the top right hand region of the screen. (Scroll up)
You can then click on 'sign out' on the bottom portion of the pop-up.
Or you can go here > https://www.electronicspoint.com/logout/ <

I'm a little unsure of the problem too - there's no need to do anything special when leaving the site? If it's the log out button you're looking for (no need to do this unless you're on a shared PC), then Gryd3 has kindly posted the steps :).

The bottom of said list wraps below the monitor. The cursor won't go there.
Amazon does the same. So web designer is in expensive / rich company. Most web designers make LOG-OUT easy.

Just leave the page - so why need a password if page stays open anyway?

If the list extends past your monitor, you may scroll the entire page down and the pop-up with the log-out option will stay on screen. I should clarify and tell you that you may be able to just hover your mouse over your name without clicking on it for the list to appear. The list will not redirect you from the page you are on. If you are still having issues, I'm sure more solutions can be found.
This is dependant on the computer you use. My computers are not publicly accessible so I am not concerned with others using is and logging into my EP account.
If you access this site from a public site like a library's computer than I can see why you want a logout button.

Also, the password is required to prevent other people/bots on the internet from logging in as you and spreading ads, spam, and generic unwanted garbage.

when you leave the site to surf elsewhere, you can return without logging in
But once you switch puter off for the day and come back tomorrow you WILL have to log in again
My login is remembered by the puter and does it automatically each day I visit
( that is ... I don't have to physically have to type in my login details)
That's the way for ALL the forum sites I belong to

You can also set your current web-browser to discard cookies (and/or history) once you close the window. This will sign you out of almost anything you may have ever signed in on. (Even if you check 'remember-me')
