    I'm after a datasheet for a BY409 diode (and a BY406).

    I've found plenty of datasheets for the BY401, 2, 3, and 4. The scanned datasheet stops there :-(

    Any help appreciated

    Looking at my 2003 vintage "World transistors, diodes, thyristors & ICs" it claims a BY409 is a 12.5kV 2.5mA silicon diode. It suggests a BY406 is 350V 0.8A.

    These old paper books come in useful for something!

    Hello,

    You can also find a heap of databooks and datasheets on bitsavers:
    http://www.bitsavers.org/components/

    They are in folders for all kind of manufacturers.

    (I have downloaded ALL of these).
