Hi everyone,

This question is about a device used in glider racing. The judge uses it to signal the passage of the plane.
I'm a begineer in electronics and barely managed to go this far

One question : how to add a buzzer so that the judge gets a feedback when he presses the button ? Without jeopardizing the signal at D4.

Thanks,
André

To avoid placing the buzzer directly across the 1K resistor, a DPST pushbutton switch could be used instead of the SPST pushbutton shown in the drawing. The second pair of contacts on the DPST pushbutton switch could then operate the buzzer completely independently of the main circuit.
Having said that, it's probably fine to put the buzzer directly across the 1K resistor.

Can you use a pushbuton with 2 conatcts? Use the second contact for the buzzer without influencing the signal of teh first contact on D4.
