At 11:00 this morning, 16 hours into a data run begun last night, at 84 deg.
ambient temperature, my Brand power meter showed a spurious reading of 12
watts with no load being drawn. I put an ice pack on it, 15 minutes later
the spurious reading was varying between 26 and 30 watts. I added another
pack, under it, and 1/2 hour later the spurious was gone. It's working OK
since, inside an insulated box with an ice pack on top of it, sheet of
cardboard between (it might crap out again if it gets too cold!).

Anyone else? Brand is more likely to listen, fix meters if we present him
    with many failures.
