If you'd persuaded anyone, they'd have said so. Maybe you believe
you're enough of a jerk that no one would ever admit agreeing with
you? Can't imagine why you'd think such a thing!

And I suggest you avoid any and all opportunities to prove you're not
a BS artist. Oh wait, that's what you've been doing....

BTW, I loved the mention of "fenceing". Helps to understand the
workings of the Ghinius mind. So now you're the Zorro of Usenet as
well? LOL Calling Dr. Freud! Although, considering your spelling
blunders, perhaps you were thinking "the Zero of Usenet"....

Wayne

Silver medal Centre State Games. Sorry.

You are just a wannabe.

Trouble is you wannbe ME. And the job is taken.

Now about your system. Still can't do it can you?

<Fenceing (with swords)>

Silver medal Centre State Games. Sorry.

So you found an illogical and inappropriate way to mention a subject
that you can't even spell, yet claim to be an expert at.... again.
Trouble is you wannbe ME. And the job is taken.

That has to be the most revealing thing you've ever written. Why would
*anyone* want to be you? Those aspiring to be someone else may as well
set their sights a little higher than on you, and aim to be Joey
Buttafuoco or Wile E. Coyote for instance.

Wayne wants to be:

Solar power designer. Can't document his own system.

Welder. Does not even know which direction to use the mig in.

Hydraulic fitter. Has no idea of seals, valves, volumes or safety issues.

Desert rat. Has no idea what this is but sounds good in Cusslers books.

Spell checker. When ever some one shows Wayne's failings he attacks
their spelling. All his spelling mistakes are the fault of his naughty
spell checker.

Sorry Wayne, you can't have my job. You're just not good enough.

And you know and I know that my analyses of your system is correct.

And I still have the silver medal for fencing

And I still don't use a spell checker for usenet

And you're still just a wannabe.

I am new to alternate energy for homes looking to learn. Is the following
book any good?

Power With Nature: Solar and Wind Energy Demystified

Does anyone recommend any other books for a beginner. I have a background in
computer engineering so technical books are good for me too even though I am
new to the field.

Thanks.

I posted a similar question in another group and got this link...

From that site I downloaded an order form which I mailed off and received
FREE :) three books on designing, operating and building to the electrical
code, Solar PV. Took a couple of weeks but well worth it and you can't
beat the price.

Wayne

Why are you trying so hard?

Solar power

Welder

Hydraulic fitter

You don't have a clue about any of them. Yet you try to impress people
with them.

I have done them all and much more for thirty some years with success.

I point out your failings and you correct my spelling.

You are just a sad wannabe.

Gee George, when I respond to your "analyses" with details, you (and
only you) claim they're not in the right format. When I use photos,
you declare that I'm "trying to impress people". (Which is kinda'
weird coming from a guy who just blurted out that he'd won an award
for "fenceing", in order to prove???)

Let's pretend for the moment that writing, or even thinking that
anyone "wants to be ME" isn't the height of conceit, and just carry on
as though you'd offered a logical argument.... There's only one
problem with your list - it's a delusion. Solar power? Your solar
Ghioisms have made you the butt of jokes. After years of posting, you
couldn't *buy* respect, or even a link or a recommendation from any
other group member. Welder? Lots of talk talk talk talk talk, not a
whiff of proof. Hydraulic fitter? Impossible that a knowledgeable one
would write that "spool valves don't hold pressure". If we're to
believe any of it the way you tell it, then you must be a master of
many trades. Yet from your own "story", your sage self earns a portion
of his living scabbing rusty crap together for people he doesn't
respect. Not to forget the "writing" income, which if doubled might
pay your propane bill. You're never shy about tooting your own horn,
yet just can't ever seem to manage to write the theory of magic mass,
or show a photo of the "work of art" home or the "and much more" you
just mentioned. Yet you can always find a way to criticize the work of
others, even if you have to stoop lower than a snake's belly to do it.
Taken all together, in the end I can't think of any other contributor
I'd less like to be. Of course, that's just me. Perhaps there'll be a
flood of posters telling us how they'd love to be in your shoes. And
soon after that it will start raining bananas.

When you respond to my analyses you waffle on and twist the facts and
weasel out of any meaningful data.

You use pretty pics to obscure the lack of data again.

Think of it this way:

You reap as you sew.

An interesting point, In the month or so before you pulled your site you
updated it twice. Both updates were with numbers I provided.

You've been claiming that for, ah... a while now. If it were true,
wouldn't somebody... anybody, be agreeing with you after all this
time? You're delusional to refer to what you do as "analyses" anyway.

LOL Another day in the life of the satisfied and successful "solar
power consultant"... equipped with his deerstalker and magnifying
glass, staring at a web page, and imagining it had changed since the
day before. And yet you waited all this time to tell us about your
"interesting point". But you're full of shit, I'd no more add any of
the nonsense you "provided" than I'd take up "fenceing". Jeez I really
missed an opportunity though... if I'd thought to install hit tracking
for the site, I could be posting a log showing probably hundreds of
hits from netconnect.au.... all from your evil twin eh George?

Don't you like my mixed metaphor.

The meaning is that you are about to be stiched up.

Ok Wayne this is what is going to happen.

I am sending some pretty picks to you. You like pretty pics don't you.

You will post them on your site and post the url here with an abject
apology to me for your lies.

They will show that you know nothing about hydraulics.

Of course you can refuse to do this, but that will only show you to be a
craven coward as well as a liar and an ignorant wannabe.

If you do not post the pretty pics I will post them on the pic site I
use and the end result will be the same.

So are you man enough to admit you are wrong?

I say you will cut and run like you did with your site.

Spool vlaves do not hold pressure. They can't. The internal leakage is
too great.

You are a ignorant wannabe.

My site is available to all who want to see it....excepting the lone
twit. But if I'd known that you were checking it so often, I'd have
left it where it was and made frequent changes just to make you
crazier.
Don't you like my mixed metaphor.

So you're claiming you did that on purpose. Just how stupid do you
think we are? You might as well claim that fairies live in your
keyboard. And I suppose "stiched" is *another* of your mixed
metaphors? LMAO
I am sending some pretty picks to you. You like pretty pics don't you.

I warned you before, if you send me any more unsolicited email, I'm
going to complain to your ISP. If that' not clear enough, then I
suggest you smack yourself upside the head with a rubber mallet while
reading.
You will post them on your site and post the url here with an abject
apology to me for your lies.

Perhaps you imagine that you're sending out mind-control rays...
If you'd like me to do your work for you, then Paypal $10 per photo,
and then we'll talk.

they are again

or http://tinyurl.com/65lp3 You may post whatever you like, wherever

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of picture *you're* going to
put up to show that *I* don't know anything about hydraulics. A
chocolate spool valve perhaps?

Didn't Daestrom's post on the subject teach you anything? I don't have
a clue what kind of valve you *think* you're talking about, but
standard spool valves have an operational pressure rating, *for a
reason*. Here's a link to the specs for a typical example.
http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2004100717003831&item=9-4501&catname=hydraulic
or http://tinyurl.com/4ggae If they couldn't hold pressure up to the
relief valve setting while being operated, then exactly what keeps the
fluid from leaking out Mr. Wizard?

Two seals. One at each end of the spool. This of course does not stop
internal leaking. Would you like to prove otherwise

Dip stick

I said they do not "hold" pressure. A spool valve will not hold up a
cylinder in the centre position. They leak. Opreational pressure is a
different thing. Which brings us back to my question of What is the
relief is set at." Should not be too hard a question for you. Except you
could nor answer it the first time around. Can't answer it now.

about your nonsense.

Thank you for proving the absence of any charactor in you makeup.

You are such a weak little pussy. Are you so afraid of my pics that you
can't take the chance to be a man and face the hard fact that you have
no idea about hydraulics.

My information is straight from the Sperry Vickers Industrial Hydraulics
