    Hi all,

I did my first toaster oven soldering including some BGA parts. I think
5 of the 6 BGA parts soldered correctly but one of them has an obvious
solder bridge between two pads that is visible when viewed from the
side. What is the best way to do BGA rework for this? I am thinking
that I will put the board back in the oven and pull the part off when
the solder melts and then clean it up with some solder wick and put it
back on the board and resolder it. The part is an adxrs150 gyro and it
has a ball pitch of 0.8mm, and a ball diameter of about 0.55mm. I think
the stencil put too much solder paste on for this part too and that is
probably why there was a bridge.

    cheers,
    Jamie Morken
