    Hi
    I am once again
    Now I need a help using a 555 ic
    I have a circuit with 555 ic, that will give an output through pin3. The output time can vary using a variable resistor.
    The actual problem I am facing is- I really need a single beep after 15 seconds. But after 15 sec. delay the output is giving a long beep of seconds duration. (I really want a beep of fraction of seconds)
    Give me your valuable advise (Please remember that I have very limited knowledge on circuits)

    Instead of R4 & led2, a beeper directly from pin 3 to ground. Instead of 10K, a 100K VR LED-flasher-circuit.png

    Try these changes:
    R1=10k
    C1=220u
    Forward biased diode across R2 (100k).
