Beckman HD110 - followup

Quick recap - the fault was complete absence of operation.

Someone - I forget who, sorry - suggested the plastic moulding behind
the display had broken.

On investigation, I find that was exactly what had happened - a quick
squeeze brought the unit to life!

So many thanks to that gentleman. Now all I've got to do is find a
replacement, or a way of mending it .. but that's for another day!

I had a Beckman do that, and I just added a compression foam between the
display keeper and the back cover.

Good Idea. I doubt the part is available anymore. We bought that part by
the bag full years ago. We just used the last one about a month ago.
Didn't try to reorder as that is an act of god around here anymore.
