In doing a small project as part of it I need to display my data, more specifically I've decided to use the micribits and there accelerometer to display the speed there going. It will be attached to a spinning wheel, and i need the LED's to display the real time acceleration to 1dp. However in having trouble coding this.. I'm using the blocks... I'm 16 and am new to this.

I've tried the tutorial, it didn't seem to work, given that it is moving in a circular motion the numbers seemed to mix up or not register correctly, since it's moving in 3 dimensions simultaneously.

Before you start to work in all 3 dimensions simultaneously, get a good grasp on the sensor and how to read out data from it using only one axis (linear motion).
Once that works, add the other axes one by one.
