    Hi,

I am looking for a new battery for my Canon Compact Camera. The old battery was a 3.5v 870mAH 3.1Wh(Li-ion). I have found some online that have the following specs:

    3.5V 1000 mAh
    3.7V 870 mAh

Would these be suitable? What is the difference in voltage and mAh?

    Cheers

    MM

    hi mm
    welcome to the forums :)

the 3.5V 1000mAh would be fine
the 1000mAh instead of the original 870mAh just means it will last a little longer before need a recharge

    cheers
    Dave
