Hey all-have a question for you-I'm looking for a 3v battery, same form fit as a CR2 Lithium style, but it can't be Lithium, if that makes any sense!
Have tried some 2.4V & 3.6V ones from RS, but the mAh rating is only 150, and the CR2 is 800 plus.
Does anyone have any ideas or palces I could try to get a battery( or ones I could cobble together? )
The battery is for a gas detector in a diving saturation chamber, so I'm looking at Ni-MH or Ni-Zn ideally!

Cheers peeps

The capacity of a battery is pretty much determined by the chemistry and its volume. If you want higher capacity then you'll need to look at a different chemistry. You've excluded lithium chemistry so perhaps you should look at primary cells if its not absolutely requires that they be rechargeable. Silver oxide batteries might be something to look at.
